Dan Miller
Dan was the kind of friend who exemplified the commandment to love one's neighbor as much as one loves oneself. If anyone needed a hand, someone to listen to them, a sholder on which to cry ... Dan was the man.
He was a fun loving young man, but his love of life never kept him from showing that side of his character that was so unique - he was one of the kindest and most sincere of young men.
Partly because he was a registered nurse, Dan came all the way out to California when he learned that his friend, Kevin, was dying. Dan found fulfillment and purpose when he was caring for someone or making someone happy. Having Dan to care for him surely gave Kevin an easier passage.
Dan was, in every sense of the word, a true friend. He is a friend who is still sorely missed by those whose lives he touched.
